I have stayed in this hotel for 6 days in total. Hotel is located in Heart of the Sunamganj town centre and its only been open for 6 months. Nice modern and clean rooms with all wester facilities one would expect to see in Uk 5* hotels. Bed has comfy Mattress and pillows. Air conditioned room, with clean towels and room service provided daily. Exceptional bathroom facility with hot shower.
Breakfast was awesome, lovely verity and freshly cooked. Friendly Staff and Reception team were always there to answer any questions and see to our needs. What I also loved about the Hotel is that more or less everyone spoken and understood English. Hotel is bit on the expensive side but it’s worth every penny, + keeps the demography of the customers it attracts to mid to upper class.
I would recommend anyone looking to book a hotel in Sunamganj to book Peace Palace Hotel and you will not regret it. I had booked a triple room but when I checked in they put me in a double room. However they did change it once I had raised my concern with Reception Team and apologised for the mix-up.
Jolpoddo Retreat is all about the personal touch and the personal service. You get the local vibe and the local experience here. Tapas Das will make you feel welcome and explain his vision of tourism making a contribution to the local community. Breakfast delivered to your terrace is the perfect way to start the day. The trip Tapas organised for us to Lawachara was fantastic. He can also help with train tickets etc.
