The room was very clean and communication via WhatsApp was good. Since it was located in a residential building, it's a little hard to find. I arrived in the evening and the staff came out to welcome me. Breakfast was basic but good. Location is super, I walked everywhere and could explore, very safe area with interesting shops and most importantly supermarkets. Going to the airport was also no problem, CNG for around 400 taka. The balcony with mosquito net was cool. The room was quite small, I stayed there alone but still had nowhere to put my luggage, asked for a second chair and it was much better. Also the water pressure of the hot water was not enough, but it was not a problem for me, I used a bucket to mix cold and hot water.
Very clean, large room and bathroom in a modern building on a quiet street. Good AC and the TV even had international channels. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Communication before arrival on WhatsApp was very efficient and they helped us organise a driver. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. We walked from the hotel into the city centre very easily, solo female would also be able to do so. Highly recommend staying here! The shower was too hot at times and hard to regulate for the right temperature, but not a major problem.
This is a great place to stay! It is extremely clean and quiet, and has a good location not too far from the train station. A real oasis of calm. The manager, Hridoy, is extremely helpful and kind. He really went out of his way to help me. Highly recommended! It is a bit hard to find, but worth it. Here is how to find it: tell the taxi or Tuk Tuk driver to drive to Sylhet Uposhohar, Block E, Road 2. On Road 2, go almost to the end where you will see a 7 storey brown and white building. The only English on a sign there says "doict.sylhet.gov.bd". Go into the parking garage on the main floor, go right, and take the elevator to Floor 4.
